07.06.2010 - Annual Parish Walks
These take place once a year in order to explore the boundaries of our Parish and to ensure that our footpaths are well used.
The first walk covering the east side of the Village will take place on Tuesday 13th July at 7pm
The west side walk will be on Saturday 17th July at 1.30 pm.
Do come along and join us and make new friends on a pleasant walk, which should take approximately 2 hours. Boots or strong shoes are recommended. Children and dogs are welcome. However, the walks are not suitable for pushchairs.
Please meet at the bottom of Mill Lane for both walks.

The Bingley Arms is no ordinary English pub. It is recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest in Britain.
The Bingley Arms, or The Priests Inn as it was called hundreds of years ago, has a known history that dates back as far as 953AD when Samson Ellis brewed in the central part of the building. However, evidence suggests that it might even date back to 905AD and was standing before All Hallows Church, just a few yards away, was built in 950AD.
Check out their own website for further details, photographs and history.
